Roblox has launched its "4D" creation toolset in open beta, letting users generate interactive 3D objects through text prompts. The feature builds on the platform's AI model from last year that created static 3D objects.
Despite the "4D" branding, the tools create fully functional 3D objects that move and react to players. The beta currently offers two templates: driveable cars and solid objects like boxes or sculptures.
The generated cars come with five separate parts that work independently, featuring spinning wheels and opening doors with accurate physics. Roblox says this should enable a wave of user-generated racing games on the platform.
